Mark Wilson shot a second round 2-under 70 and sits just one shot of the lead at 6-under. Steve Marino is following up his second place finish last week at the Colonial with another strong showing this week. He sits just three shots back at 4-under.
Lastly, it's great to see Chris DiMarco near the top of the leaderboard entering the weekend. Following a bogey-free 5-under 67, he's tied with Marino at 4-under and could be a threat over the next few days.
Murfield just looks like one of the best golf courses in the world. I remember watch the Ryder cup on TV in the UK around Murfield and it just looked like nothing I had ever seen. Got to be a dream golf course for me to play one day.
I know it's a little late for this comment, BUT...Muirfield Village IS THE BEST course in the world! I worked with the Memorial Tournament every year and between the volunteers, the field, most of the fans, and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Nicklaus...the Memorial is the best of the best. Mrs. Nicklaus does so much for everyone. She's such a sweet lady. The volunteers do such a great job. The course is SPOTLESS! There's not 1 blade of brown grass there. There's all kinds of wildlife there. The place truly is the closest thing to Heaven that you'll ever see!
Would love to play Murfield sometime
