First event of 2010, first event since joining team FJ, and first win of the season for Geoff Ogilvy at the SBS Championship. Geoff fired a near flawless final round 6-under 67 on Sunday that featured just one missed green to come from two shots back with 10 holes to play and win at Kapalua for the second consecutive year. Geoff has now fired eight consecutive rounds in the 60's on the Plantation Course, including the four this week (69-66-68-67). He finished the week with a 22-under 270 total for a one shot victory, the seventh of his career on the PGA TOUR.

It was announced this week that Geoff had joined team FJ and he has been wearing a StaSof glove and FJ ICON golf shoes all week en route to his title defense. On Sunday he wore the all-black FJ ICON Sport saddle, style #52088.

It was really fun watching Ogilvy this weekend. If I could take his "calm" to my game I'd be a much better player.

BTW, the ladies want to participate in the contest too. How about some shoes choices for us? ;o)

Geoff really came thru and showed what a realy great golfer can do. Do you think it might have been because he joined the top 2 teams in golf, meaning Titleist and FootJoy of course. Great win to start the season and hopefully more to come.

I alway liked Geoff Ogilvy as a Pro golfer and a truly one of nicer guy on the links. I hope the Golf Gods are kind to him for the rest of the year. I think FJ & Titleist have made a great chose in signing Geoff to wear and play their products.
