D.A. Points (SYNR-G #53918 and SciFlex #68115) won the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am with a 5-under par 67. This is D.A.'s first career victory, earning him a spot in The Masters along with a 2 year PGA Tour exemption. Standing in the fairway on the hardest hole Pebble has to offer, the par 5 14th, Points holed his third shot for eagle giving him a 1 shot lead with 4 to play. Points then holed a 30 foot birdie putt on the par 4 15th to all but assure him the victory. "Pebble Beach may be the most iconic place in America to play golf, and to win here, it's just a dream come true," said Points.

Hunter Mahan (FJ Icon) shot a 66 to finish solo second.

Great finish for D.A. and Hunter. Footjoy wins another. What a great tournament at Pebble. Of course you can't forget Bill Murray winning the celebrity part of the tournament. Its a cinderella story.

DA had a great tournament. Amazing what you could do when you're relaxed when playing golf.

Hunter was impressive also

Back in the mid 90's, DA won the Illinois State Am. I played in that tournament. I was supposed to play the Monday practice round with him & a friend from college, but it didn't work out.
