Last Sunday, Kyle Stanley lost a heartbreaking playoff at Torrey Pines, and some wondered if and when he would recover. As a former Clemson University standout and Hogan award winner, Stanley knew he had all the tools to become a PGA Tour winner.
This Sunday, he proved his metal coming back from eight shots down at the beginning of the day to win the Waste Management Phoenix Open by one shot over fellow FJ Ambassador Ben Crane. Stanley, playing in FJ ICON and StaSof, made six birdies and no bogeys on his way to a 65 and the victory.
Playing partner Ben Crane tweeted this post-round about Stanley's win, "As a fan of sports you have to love what @kylestanleygolf did this week. CONGRATS, Kyle you earned this. The whole golf world is proud"
The win moves Stanley to the number one spot on the FedEx Cup leaderboard and earns him exempt status on the PGA Tour through 2014.

Paul Lawrie won the Qatar Masters shooting a seven under par 65 in the final round. Lawrie, in FJ ICON and StaSof, began the day with a one stroke lead and only made one birdie on the first eight holes. Then, on the par five ninth hole Lawrie chipped in for eagle to increase his lead. On the back nine, Lawrie added four more birdies including another holed chip from just off the 17th green to take a four stroke lead heading into the last hole. Finishing up with a routine par, Lawrie wrapped up the victory.
Lawrie later commented on his play this week, "I played lovely all week. But today I think tee to green, apart from my tee shot on 10th, I can't play much better than that."
This is his seventh European Tour victory and second win at the Qatar Masters. The win catapults Lawrie into the top 50 on the official world golf rankings and earns him a spot in the WGC Accenture Match Play in two weeks.

European Tour journeyman, Robert Rock held off one of the strongest fields assembled in golf this week to win the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. The Englishman started the day in a tie for the 54-hole lead at 11 under par. Rock wearing custom FJ ICON MyJoys, made early birdies on the second, third, and sixth holes to take control of the tournament.
He would then drop shots on the eighth and thirteenth giving his pursuers, including Rory McIlroy a chance to over take the lead. Rock would bounce back hitting brilliant iron shots on the fourteenth and sixteenth setting up birdies to give him a two stroke lead heading into the last.
Missing his tee shot into a hazard right on the 72nd hole, Rock with the lead, gave up much distance to drop in the fairway to give himself a better shot at making a bogey and taking home the trophy. He did just that hitting his third shot just short of the green, he then pitched on, and two putted for the one shot victory over the ultra talented Rory McIlroy.
This is Rock's second European Tour victory and by far the larger of the two. The win moves Rock into the top 60 on the official world golf rankings and earns him an invitation to the WGC Bridgestone Invitational along with the WGC - HSBC Champions.

On his third start to the 2012 PGA Tour season, Mark Wilson, with memories of his two wins early last year, wrapped up a two stroke victory by holding off a slew of contenders at the Humana Challenge.
Wilson, at 21 under par, began the final round with a three stroke lead over fellow FJ Ambassadors Zach Johnson, Robert Garrigus and Ben Crane. Garrigus gave Wilson the biggest challenge on Sunday as Garrigus took the lead from Wilson on the par four tenth hole with a birdie.
Wilson wearing FJ ICON and SciFlex, responded with an up-and-down birdie from over the green on the par five eleventh hole to regain a share of the lead at the top of the leaderboard. On the next, Wilson hit his approach shot into a greenside bunker, only to hole out the 49 foot bunker shot for another birdie to retake the lead. He added two more birdies on his way in, including a birdie on the last to seal the deal on the victory.
This is Wilson's fifth career PGA Tour victory.

This weekend Johnson Wagner emerged from a crowded leaderboard to win the Sony Open in Hawaii. Wagner wearing FJ ICON and SciFlex, started the day two strokes off of the 54 hole lead and with many players in the hunt, Wagner would need to play steady - level headed golf to give himself a chance for the win. Playing his last 12 holes in four under par, Wagner closed with a three under 67 to finish the tournament at 13 under par. The 13 under par total gave him a two shot victory over fellow FJ player Harrison Frazar.
Despite playing the front nine in one over par for the week, Johnson relied heavily on his back nine play to carry himself to victory. Wagner did not make a single bogey on the back nine over the four rounds. He also made two eagles the par-5 18th to contribute to his 14-under par back nine total.
This is Wagner's third PGA Tour victory and the win also earned him an invitation to the 2012 Masters.
