I see you reached gold level. Keep posting and before you know it you will be an ambassador.
You've got all the good tips Brian....just keep plugging away. Just takes time, but don't forget about registering the gear you own and the contests...
It takes a little time and more posts, but you are close and just keep at it. Once you reach The top, there will be some benefits that will come your way.
i just found out that registering for the contests, that you get points for that. i didn't know that. that's cool. i think i've rated all the footjoy stuff i own. i'll have to look.
so a poll for the ambassadors in the room.....have you bought any shoes to get your points up? i haven't ordered any yet and i'm about 900 points short. so i'm thinking about ordering a pair to just get me over that 6000 point total.
what after ambassador? anything else go on after i get there? do you have to keep posting?

You're so close now that you'll be an Ambassador by the end of the month. I would wait and buy your shoes after you make it, then you can get the FJA logo on them (provided you want Traditional Saddles).
Once you make FJA you'll get a great welcome gift (a Pewter bag tag and socks) and then be able to participate in FJA exclusive contests. Beej won a Sofshell jacket last year and a bunch of folks won FJ belt buckles. I'm sure we'll have some great stuff as the Masters gets here, so set your target on hitting Ambassador by then!
Finally, I hope you'll want to keep posting. We all love to chat with one another, so continuing participation is something we all still do. You're close buddy. You can do it!
Maybe I can just borow some of Eric's points for a while. Earlier this year, I was posting and a number of Ambassadors figured out he had more posts than I had points. I am finally getting there myself. Only about 100 more posts, I pledged to wait to buy my shoes until I can put an FJ Ambassador logo on them.

so i have a question, as soon as i finally hit that ambassador status, i'm going to order some shoes with the logo on it that i can wear in my shop at work. how do i go about order myjoys with the logo? and the other thing, i can order them from the rep and get them cheaper, can i order through him with the fja logo on it?

so how many ambassadors are there on here? on the front page where it says meet the ambassadors, i only counted like 25. is that it? plus most of them i didn't recognize their name on the forums.
