I USUALLY LAYER WITH THE LONG SLEEVE BEING THE FIRST TO PEEL OFF.
IT REALLY DOESN'T GET THAT COLD AND STAY THAT COLD HERE TO NEED TO WEAR MORE THAN TWO LAYERS FOR LONG. REMEMBER I'M IN KINGWOOD, TEXAS
absolutely long sleeve. personally If your going to wear clothes to keep you dry why wear ones that dont keep all of your arms dry? just me, some people like short sleeves but I'll go long sleeves every time.
I agree peacoben. I used to hate long sleeves, but your arms get wet and drips down to the grip and glove. I always buy a size bigger in LS.

I'm not a huge fan of the longsleeve jacket.
I have a shorsleeve rain jacket and a nice longsleeve baselayer that's warm and not bulky- that solves most of my weather related problems. For those really cold days you just have to play I'll wear the longsleeve jacket, but I'll do whatever I can to keep the sleeves short.
Both...and Golf Locker has some good deals on FJ outerwear.
Both, in FL we use long in winter and bad weather and short in the summer and when it's hot...
I have both and use them equally.
I have both. The last thing I want to do is wear long sleeves while it rains in 90* weather. Most the time, if its a little chilly, I will wear the short sleeve jacket because it provides some warmth but doesn't cook you up.
I don't usually play in the rain, so it's more used for specific temperatures.
light rain, short, more wet, like here in Oregon often, long keeps is best-
You need both. The weather deterimes long or short. I have one rain suit that has removable 1/2 sleeves, same with pants. However the rain pants I wear are not the breakway. I do like the zipper type (below the knee) to allow for the golf shoe to slide through when putting them on during a down_pour. Of the choice I have been hooked on Zero and Nike... I may try Page & Tutle next.
Just my opinion, and if you hear me say it is raining you really need to step outside and be sure you agree before blindly accepting mine.
I go SS down here but, when it gets cold I just layer up b/c I think its easier to swing that with long sleeve..but, get them both to be cover no matter how the weather is and wear it off the course!
Futerpro, I have to agree with a lot of the other feed back "both" short for warm wet days and long for cool wet and windy days.
I concur with the majority here - I have both the short sleeve rain shirt and long sleeve rain jacket. Depends on the conditions, so it is best to have both.
Always easier to have both and you can never have too many shirts!
I carry both on my bag.
