Has anyone watched this new one yet?? Watched Tuesday and those with the big egosreally stand out. The Olympic medal winner who bragged how good he was is gone. He, I beleive, tried too hard and blew a two hole elimination contest. There are sevral others that also have the big ego and probably will wash out also. The last Big Break proved to be the same way. Those with the huge egos simply can't take the pressure. This new season is going to prove to be very, very  interesting, especially with 2 people, who are like brothers, going for it.

The ones with egos always go early.  They are the ones who THINK their game is better than it really is.  I like JR from Omaha, he's a stud glad to see him safe after hitting one little chip shot.

Glad to see the swimmer go, he wasn't good enough for the mini tour let alone Nationwide.  I would like to see Andrew Giuliani go, he seems pretty stuck up.  The two brothers are a nice story line, I like them, they have some real skill between the two of them, I could see them going far in this competition.

My picks are, the brothers and JR (because I'm already keen to him being he's from Omaha).

Kevin (guy whose wife won the Big Break) looked rather lost out there, I was surprised he survived elimination as well as he did.

My picks agree with yours. Those two brothers are going to be very competitive. Kevin isn't what I would call very confident at this point, but he may relax a little more. It  will tell who, those  who can handle the pressure, will survive.

Giuliani has a big attitude, he needs to go early for me to keep watching. I like JR and the guy from Florida who was kidnapped as a kid.

I'm a fan of the guy that was given the Charlie Sifford exemption last year (I've forgotten his name right now).  As for the others, I think JR has some game and could go a long way.  Not too convinced about the brothers although from what I understand they hit the ball a ton...

Obviously time will tell who will step up and who will fold like a cheap tent.

I agree with a lot of your choices, should be an interesting season.

I started watch and then saw that Guiliani kid shooting his mouth off (again) and decided this season was not worth investing in. In the past I liked the shows where the guys and ladies competed against each other, which really made the competition interesting.

Not sure why, but this year I saw too many big mouths, so I'm "out."

Hi, my name is Chris, and I'm a Big Break junkie.  Proud to say I've watched every episode of every season (no comments from you guys about having a life!). I think the Fenau brothers are pretty good -- they've been on The Golf Fix a couple of times and are pretty impressive -- but they're young.

I don't think Giuliani has stopped talking since his dad's first inauguration way back when. Does anyone remember the big scandal about him losing his golf scholarship at Duke and then suing the school? Hmm, maybe a little sense of entitlement there?

JR's got some game. Not sure about Kevin Erdman, or about  "K-Max" -- ridiculous belt-buckle trash talk for such a short white kid.

Golfchick... K-Max is a short white kid who plays off his wife's shadow.  Only reason he got on is because of his wife winning it.  He won't last long.

We'll see what happens Tuesday. I don't think Gulianis boy is going to make it and neither is Kmax. It is going to be interesting to see what the 2 brothers do.

I've always wanted to hit balls from home plate... should be interesting tonight, see how long the boys are.  COME ON JR! =)

You got your wish Kelly, at least one of the big shots went tonight. Andreas just couldn't do it. And watching the older brother Tony knock out 22 homers was great. I am  rooting for Tony and  JR. Think they may be the ones to finish with one of them be the eventual winner.

Now we see the reason none of the player on the Duke Golf team wanted Andrew Giuliani.  When Duke got a new coach, O.D. Vincent, he basically kicked him off the team.  He protested to the University.  During the interviews of fellow team members, none took his side.  Most stated he was bad for the team, not due to his game.  He then sued.

Funny how JR said where he practices at the public courses in Omaha don't have bunkers.  The course he plays now is one of the top private courses in Omaha.  Big Break must have done him some good to get to play there.

Tony did well, I was impressed by that.  I was surprised Gipper had such a tough time with the driving (mentioned some sholder problem), the second challege (chunking a bunker shot? Really?) and elimination challenge.  I don't think nerves got to Gip, I think he was having a bad day all together, but I was glad to see him stay.

Guiliani doesn't know if he wants to be there?  WOW, I wouldn't be happy if someone got sent home who really wanted to be there and then he doesn't.  I hope he walks leaves and they bring someone back (won't happen).  He's a pile and never stops talking, hopefully soon he will realize no one cares what he thinks, he needs to stop living off his dad's reputation.
